The "Walk Over Bridge" at Bull's Island. That would be Pennse on the other side. Been on (& fished under) this bridge a gazillion times, this was the first time I ever got creeped out. Actually had a little "vertigo" thing going on..... |

| In PA looking at Frenchtown Bridge I was checking out the river and surrounding area around 2:00 pm. At that time the river was approximately 24.5 feet and is expected to crest at 26.6 sometime after midnight. |

Wow that river is moving fast!! It is wondrous and dangerous at the same time.
1) You're a lot braver than I am, walking on that little swing bridge over flood waters...
2) The osprey nest was in a snag (dead tree) on the Pennsy side. If you line up with the old bridge piers, it was just to the south of the bridge right-of-way.
3) Nice photos. You've got a good eye for it!
Ohhhh boy....that river is really, really moving! I hope the water stops rising so no one has any property damage or loss of life. Nature is so powerful. I would have had vertigo, too!
We've had tons of rain here, too. Whenever water gets that close to a functioning bridge, it's always a little or a lot scary. Hopefully, you'll dry out a bit before the next spring storm.
